About the Honda Center
Even though the Honda Center has only been open since 1993, it has been known as several other names. They include: the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim, Honda Ponda, and The Pond. Of course, you can call this indoor arena whatever you want; it does not change what it has to offer.
The Honda Center’s seating capacity can change based on the event that is taking place. For concerts, the capacity is more than 18,000, but for basketball and hockey games it is a bit smaller; in the 17,000 range.
The NHL’s Anaheim Ducks is the only team that uses the Honda Center on a permanent and regular basis. This has been the home to the Ducks since opening. Of course, the arena hosts ice events, concerts, and other shows.
At the Honda Center, there is this Theatre, created in 2001, that seats approximately 7,000 people and acts including Dolly Parton and Matchbox Twenty have graced the stage. The state-of-the-art facilities of the Honda Center provides fans a name that is both beautiful to behold and a delight to witness any show. Visitors enjoy incredibly comfortable seating and most importantly, there are flexible arrangements to meet the requirements of various events.
The Honda Center has a great location in Anaheim. Being easy to access and offering many features make the venue popular among NHL fans, as well as those who simply love the city of Anaheim.
